Crystal Thorns
Spectacular Hoar frost crystals appeared one morning in March after a very thick fog settle on Calgary. Never have I seen the crystals so long before. We drove down to Fish Creek park in search of some good photo op's but found out the higher ground of Bridlewood was far superior.
The kids agreed it was far too cold out to sit & sketch the remarkable pictures so we opted to take many pictures, & sketch later.
Apparently billions of tiny white crystals are too much temptation for some to resist.
